As a professional firearms instructor, I know that you never learn it all. And it is important to take additional training from other instructors and organizations to stay on top of your game. So when a former boss gave me a Front Sight Legacy Membership which included a lot of free classes, I took the opportunity to start with their basic 2 Day Defensive Handgun class. So how did it go?

While I am not a fan of the philosophy of front sight, especially in the blatant support of cops versus civilians. (I believe we must all take responsibility for ourselves) I agree as a fellow long time shooter and instructor, learning is always beneficial and as many before me have said; a true master (eg., instructor) learns from their students.

I was honestly impressed with the professionalism of not only the training, but the way the facility was run. I din’t hear or see any “Them vs. Us” attitudes in regards to police, quite the contrary. They seem to be stauch supporters of the Second Ammendment and individual rights. Thank for the comments.
